THE CHATWAL LODGE OPENS TREEHOUSES: The Chatwal Lodge, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, has opened three Treehouses. The Chatwal Lodge is an all-inclusive resort spread across 100 acres on the grounds of the Chapin Estate, a former 18,000-acre wildlife reserve along the Toronto Reservoir in White Lake, N.Y. The Treehouses hover 15 feet above the ground and have been designed by Hyatt’s Design Services Team. Suitable for up to four people, each treehouse has a king-sized bedroom, a loft with a queen Murphy bed, a living room with a wet bar, a covered balcony and an exterior deck with a gas fire pit. The three Treehouses are an addition to the 11 existing suites and cottages. The property is set to open a pool and spa later this year.
