RADISSON DEBUTS IN REUNION ISLAND:Â Radisson Hotel Group has debuted on the tropical island of Reunion with the opening of Radisson Hotel Saint-Denis. At the northern end of Saint-Denis and close to the commercial and financial district, the hotel is situated in front of the Barachois waterfront. The hotel has 124 rooms with views of the tropical surroundings, multiple dining venues, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a co-working area, a business center and meeting and event areas. Radisson now has six hotels across islands on the Indian Ocean, including in Mauritius and Madagascar.
ST. REGIS TO MOROCCO: St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 bands, has announced the opening of The St. Regis La Bahia Blanca Resort, Tamuda Bay. The resort marks the launch of the St. Regis brand in Morocco. The hotel has been developed by Eagle Hills, the Abu Dhabi-based private investment and real estate development company, and has been designed by Smallwood. The resort has been built as a private riad with courtyards and gardens and features artwork by local artists. The hotel has 83 rooms and 17 suites, all with a private balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. All guests can avail of the signature St. Regis Butler Service. Other amenities include several dining venues, a fitness center, a spa with five treatment rooms, more than 5,000 square feet of luxury event spaces and a riad-inspired private patio.
TRUNK GROWS PORTFOLIO: Trunk Co. Ltd., the Tokyo-based boutique hotel brand, will be opening Trunk (Hotel) Sapporo as part of the Sapporo Daiburu Redevelopment Project, which is being undertaken by the Daiburu Corp. The hotel will be Trunk’s fifth location when it opens in spring 2027. The redevelopment project will comprise a mixed-use building that will have offices, a hotel and a retail area. Pivot, a shopping center, has been acquired by the Sapporo Daiburu Redevelopment Project for the project. The new hotel will be located in the Odori area of central Sapporo and will offer 100-110 rooms. The hotel will feature a café and bar/lounge, a spa, a restaurant, multipurpose spaces, a gym, banquet rooms and a chapel. Trunk opened its third concept, Trunk (hotel) Yoyogi Park, in Tomigayam Shibuya in September.
DOLLYWOOD OPENS SECOND RESORT: Dollywood Parks & Resorts has added its second resort with the opening of Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Situated near the Smoky Mountains and next to Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa, the new resort offers an outdoor pool surrounding a waterfall feature with a splash pad and hot tub. The property includes multiple dining venues and 26,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
HÔTEL DES GRANDS VOYAGEURS OPENS IN PARIS: Hôtel des Grands Voyageurs has opened on the Left Bank Quartier of Saint-Placide in Paris. The 138-key hotel has been designed by Fabrizio Casiraghi, part of AD 100. The hotel also features a brasserie restaurant, bar, gym and two meeting rooms. The hotel showcases a curated collection of art from all over the world and pays homage to the antique dealers’ square in St. Germain des Prés.
