THE ALGONQUIN HOTEL INDUCTED INTO HISTORIC HOTELS OF AMERICA: The Algonquin Hotel Times Square, Autograph Collection in Manhattan has been inducted into Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which recognizes and promotes historic hotels across the U.S. The Algonquin Hotel is one of more than 300 properties recognized by Historic Hotels of America. Built in 1902, the iconic hotel has welcomed several literary figures and leaders and was known for The Algonquin Round Table in the early 20th century. In order to be selected for membership in the Historic Hotels of America, a property must be at least 50 years old, have been designated by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior as a National Historic Landmark or be listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as having historical significance.

DESTINATION BY HYATT TO DEBUT IN THE CARIBBEAN: Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Wellington Estates have unveiled plans for the launch of the Cas en Bas Beach Resort, which will see the debut of the Destination by Hyatt brand in the Caribbean. Scheduled to open later this year, Cas en Beach Resort will be situated between two golf courses and a white sand beach on the northern tip of St. Lucia. The resort will feature 90 residential-style studios and one- and two-bedroom suites with private balconies or garden terraces and kitchenettes and open-plan living. The resort will also offer an Olympic-sized pool, a fitness center, a spa, a retail market, a sports club, a rooftop bar, a restaurant, a café and poolside and beach club offerings.
RAFFLES TO OPEN IN TROJENA: Raffles Hotels & Resorts, the luxury division of Accor, has collaborated with NEOM to announce Raffles Trojena. The new resort will be located in the year-round mountain holiday destination of Trojena in northwestern Saudi Arabia and is slated to open in 2027. With a ring shape, the resort will offer 105 rooms, each positioned along the ring’s perimeter to ensure privacy and uninterrupted panoramic views. The resort will have signature services, including the butler service and dining venues focusing on local arts and culture. The latest addition to NEOM’s Hotel Division, Raffles Trojena, will join the Discover cluster, one of the six zones in the mountain area.
HOME2SUITES TO WESTERN EUROPE: Hilton has signed Home2Suites by Hilton Dublin City Centre, marking the brand’s launch in western Europe, as part of a franchise agreement with JMK Group. Located close to O’Connell Street, the hotel will feature 290 rooms and open in 2025. The hotel will offer the brand’s signature amenities, such as complimentary breakfast, a self-service market, an integrated fitness and laundry room and a multi-functional community space. Home2Suites currently has 650 open hotels globally and is one of the fastest-growing brands in Hilton’s portfolio.
CRYSTALBROOK COLLECTION TO SELL SURRY HILLS HOTEL: Crystalbrook Collection has announced plans to sell the Crystalbrook Albion Hotel in Surry Hills, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. The company will retain management of the hotel following its sale. CBRE has been appointed to oversee the hotel’s sale through an Expression of Interest campaign. Launched in 2018, the hotel is situated in a former school convent, which was converted into a premium luxury hotel, merging a heritage-listed property with a contemporary, sustainable build. The boutique hotel features 35 rooms, a self-service bar and a rooftop garden.
