Aldar Development has announced the launch of Baccarat Residences Saadiyat, a new residential development in Saadiyat Cultural District in Abu Dhabi. The project introduces Baccarat’s first residential development in the UAE and marks the final development to launch within the Saadiyat Grove district.
Baccarat Residences Saadiyat comprises 77 residences, including two- and three-bedroom apartments, four-bedroom sky villas and two penthouses. The residences are positioned with views of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Arabian Sea. The project brings together Baccarat’s crystal heritage and the cultural setting of Saadiyat Cultural District.
The development was designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects in its first residential project in the UAE. The design is inspired by the shoreline of Saadiyat Island. The building is composed of two structures formed by curved lines that mirror the surrounding landscape. The architecture is intended to create a visual connection between the buildings and the horizon.
The interiors are designed by StudioPCH. The concept draws from neoclassical references and offers a choice of light or dark finishes. Bespoke customization options are available across a limited number of residences.
Residents will have access to a private spa and wellness centre that includes a fitness suite, private treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge and a rain room. The outdoor infinity pool with private cabanas is located within landscaped gardens. The property will also offer 24-hour concierge and valet services. These services include private dining experiences and private aviation arrangements. Residents will receive priority access to brand events, private shopping experiences and bespoke interior guidance for crystal, lighting and design.
The residences are located within Saadiyat Cultural District. Nearby amenities include beaches, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and educational institutions including Cranleigh, NYU Abu Dhabi and Berklee. The nearby Saadiyat Grove will offer 60,000 square metres of retail and dining.
