Aston International announced on Friday that the company has rebranded itself as Archipelago International.
The new corporate legal entity will serve as the group’s umbrella organization and be the name of the hotel management company.
Archipelago International said that the name Aston, the group’s namesake brand, is no longer suitable as a name for a management company with nine brands, including Grand Aston, Aston, Aston City, Crimson, Quest, Favehotels, Neo, Alana and Kamuela.
“With Archipelago, we have the intention of creating a platform that allows each brand to showcase and highlight its individual hotels and enables different personalities to shine,” said Norbert Vas, vice president sales & marketing, Archipelago International.
Archipelago International operates a portfolio of more than 60 hotels in Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
