Orlando, Florida-based Artistry Hotels Partners is developing a full-service, independent boutique brand that it describes as a lifestyle hotel in the “new luxury” segment.
Announcements are expected next month on its first two locations, which the company says will be in urban and university-town markets.
“The hospitality industry is changing rapidly to meet the demands of a new, emerging traveler that places a high priority on their own personal design, service and experiential preferences,” said Chip Headley, Artistry CEO. “And while millennials undoubtedly are having a significant impact on the industry as they grow in numbers and influence, so too is the younger, active boomer. Regardless of age, this ‘new’, discriminating U.S. travel consumer has become the driving force behind what defines today’s ‘lifestyle hotel’.”
The company describes the brand as representing hospitality with the purpose of making a difference in the lives of its guests, employees and communities, with properties reflecting their locality through design and F&B. The company is working with design firm WATG’s Chicago-based Urban Architecture Studio practice.
