Anguilla’s Malliouhana resort names new GM

Malliouhana, an oceanfront resort in Anguilla, managed by Storey Hospitality, has promoted Felix Pina to general manager. Pina has been instrumental in growing Malliouhana’s reputation as a premier luxury destination in the Caribbean for the past two years in his previous role of Resort Manager.

Pina has served as resort manager for the hotel for the past two years. He started his hospitality career as a beach attendant at another luxury resort on the island. Then, he worked with luxury villa brand Ani for 12 years, moving his way up the ranks to become general manager of Ani Villas in the Dominican Republic for 6 years. He then moved to the UK to learn food and beverage operations at the Big Easy restaurant in London, a 160-seat venue.

“We’re delighted to have such a capable leader at Malliouhana. Felix possesses robust operational acumen, underscored by a proven track record of the highest level of customer service and guest satisfaction. Felix has consistently demonstrated his dedication to excellence and ability to inspire the Malliouhana team,” said Michael Casey, co-founder and chief operating officer at Storey. Storey Hospitality offers a collection of boutique luxury properties, resorts, villas and residences.

Overlooking Meads Bay and Turtle Cove, the luxury resort features 63 rooms and suites and the Villas by Malliouhana.
