Aman unveils new luxury resort in Mozambique

Aman is expanding its global portfolio with the debut of Aman Karingani, a new safari destination set within Mozambique’s 370,658-acre Karingani Game Reserve.

Bordering Kruger National Park, Karingani Game Reserve features a resort and branded residences within a secluded setting with diverse ecosystems, from open savannahs to woodlands and seasonal wetlands, providing sanctuary for a wide variety of wildlife.

The resort will comprise 30 standalone pavilions ranging from one to two bedrooms. Every pavilion opens onto a covered deck with panoramic views and a private pool. In addition, a select number of three- to six-bedroom branded residences will allow guests to access the resort’s amenities.

At the center of the property, a Lodge will host a range of facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the escarpment. Dining will feature Aman’s signature restaurant concepts alongside local flavors. The resort will also include an Aman Spa with wellness offerings designed to promote restoration and a connection to the surrounding environment.

“The introduction of Aman Karingani is a significant milestone for our brand as we bring Aman’s ethos of timeless elegance, unparalleled service and profound privacy to Mozambique for the first time. Responding to the growing desire from our brand loyalists for an Aman safari retreat in Africa, the property reinforces the brand’s commitment to offering transformative experiences, connected to nature, and an ultra-luxury way of living in the world’s most exceptional destinations. Set within one of the continent’s most pristine and diverse reserves, I am delighted to bring Aman’s renowned lifestyle to Mozambique,” said Vlad Doronin, chairman and CEO of Aman Group.

Aman Karingani follows the announcement of the upcoming Amanvari in Mexico, which will also feature a resort and branded residences, and joins a broader pipeline of upcoming Aman and Janu properties worldwide.
