ADA Cosmetics has redesigned its FairCosmEthics collection, which it describes as its most “purpose-driven collection, delivering measurable social impact guided by respect for people and the planet”.
Each product is formulated with responsibly sourced Fairtrade ingredients, which support small-scale farmers and producers, as well as their communities, around the world.
With Fairtrade, producers are guaranteed fair minimum prices for everyday goods, which ensures a more stable income when markets fall. Farmers and workers also receive a Fairtrade Premium, which is typically invested in education, healthcare or sustainable agriculture. The result is measurably improved livelihoods, year on year.
“We are proud to expand the definition of responsibility in the hospitality industry by offering FairCosmEthics,” said Gerd von Podewils, CMO of ADA Cosmetics. “The statement-making redesign of the brand clearly highlights its ethical values, which set the benchmark for others to follow.”
By sourcing ingredients such as cane sugar and olive oil through the globally recognized Fairtrade system, ADA Cosmetics aims to ensure that FairCosmEthics connects hospitality with social fairness and long-term impact.
The amenities are vegan, skin pH-neutral and formulated with skin-friendly ingredients. The collection is also Cradle to Cradle Certified Full Scope Silver, reflecting a circular approach to sustainable product development and performance.
Each product is infused with a fragrance blending notes of bergamot, apple and lemon, followed by accents of cinnamon and geranium and layered on a base of vanilla and soft woods.
With a minimalist redesign, the relaunched brand is available in three of ADA Cosmetics’ sustainable dispenser systems—SmartCare, pump dispenser and SHAPE—and is fully compatible with ADA Cosmetics Refillution, the company’s fully automated, patented refill system.
