Hotels don’t run on their own. They need myriad items to serve guests: furniture, fixtures and equipment, operating supplies, food and beverage—the list can be endless.
It’s not an easy task: costs for supplies fluctuate, products change, and all the while hotel procurement specialists work with and vet the supplier community.
Beyond this, there are things out of the hands of these specialists, including federal-level policy changes, like tariffs, that can upset the normal hotel purchasing flow.
HOTELS Magazine’s upcoming webinar on hotel procurement will be informative and essential. Join Jason Reader, COO of Remington Hospitality, Debbie Young, VP of strategic sourcing & contracting at Loews Hotels & Co, and Jeffrey Simmons, VP of supply management at Sodexo, in conversation with David Eisen, editor-in-chief of HOTELS Magazine. This webinar, titled “Nimble Moves: How Hotel Procurement Adapts to the Policies of Change,” will take place on April 9th at 10:30AM EST.
