MGM Resorts International appointed James Stewart CEO of MGM Growth Properties LLC (MGP), a real estate trust that the company plans to take public. Stewart, along with new Chief Financial Officer Andy Chien, will head up the offering that is made up of 10 real estate properties and more than 2,400 hotel rooms.
“As we continue our path toward the creation of MGP, the knowledge and expertise that James and Andy bring will be invaluable in positioning MGP as a leading real estate investment trust,” said Jim Murren, Chairman & CEO of MGM Resorts.
Previously, Stewart and Chien were executives at Greenhill & Co.
