DENVER Adoba Eco Hotel & Suites, a LEED-designed independent hotel brand concept from Atmosphere Hospitality Management Services LLC, will be featured on an episode of “Moving America Forward,” a new national television show hosted by William Shatner.
The episode focuses on how the hotel will make history as the first independent LEED-certified brand design that is green from the very beginning. The company’s principals James Henderson and Adrienne Pumphrey were interviewed by Shatner and Doug Llewellyn.
Adoba Eco Hotel & Suites incorporates sustainability and socially responsible practices into every aspect of the design while aligning with green vendors. The Adoba concept is proof that a LEED building design is cost-effective and can save owners initial investment dollars typically associated with architectural design time, modeling costs and the time associated with incorporating sustainable building practices into the project, says Atmosphere Hospitality President James Henderson.
“The design includes sustainable elements such as; xeric landscaping plans, a smart solar roofing system, wind-turbine options, recycled building materials and purposeful upscale amenities”, Henderson said. “This design represents a tremendous change to conventional hotel construction and it demonstrates our commitment to incorporating a 360-degree view of sustainability to our plans and embedding environmental responsibility at the core of our business model. Atmosphere has not yet announced the location of the first Adoba hotel.
