The Hyde nightlife brand from Los Angeles-based sbe has debuted in Las Vegas with Hyde Bellagio.
The 10,000-sq-ft (929-sq-m) indoor/outdoor venue occupies the former Fontana Bar location and overlooks the Fountains of Bellagio.
Design highlights include a terrace inspired by a Tuscan garden with views of the fountains, lavish sofas and an outdoor bar. The grand salon features dark wood flooring, natural leather sofas and a black-and-white reclaimed wood fireplace to front the DJ booth. The upper living room sports a vanity-inspired bar made of high-gloss black carved wood adorned with artwork and photography, while a private study features wood-clad walls with bookshelves and a desk offering items for sale such as books, festival masks and candles.
Hyde Bellagio’s signature cocktail is a cucumber watermelon margarita, and small bites from the Maccioni family’s Osteria del Circo are served from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
In addition to Hyde Bellagio, the Hyde brand from sbe now includes Hyde Lounge Hollywood as well as locations at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, at Mammoth Mountain and Hyde Beach. A South Beach, Miami, location is set to debut later this year.
