Pittsburgh-area Holiday Inn converts to DoubleTree

WASHINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA A 138-key Holiday Inn hotel near Pittsburgh has been converted to a DoubleTree.

Third-party manager Hospitality Ventures LLC announces the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh-Meadow Lands in Washington, Pennsylvania, formerly known as Holiday Inn Washington-Meadow Lands.

“The opening of this hotel represents the sixth DoubleTree by Hilton we now have in our portfolio, and we look forward to adding more properties from this leading hotel brand in the future,” says Hospitality Ventures President and CEO Robert Cole. Hospitality Ventures also operates DoubleTree by Hilton DFW Airport North in Irving, Texas, that was converted from the Wyndham brand earlier this month.

DoubleTree Meadow Lands offers more than 13,500 sq. ft. of meeting space, including a 5,760-sq.-ft. grand ballroom and 3,542-sq.-ft. junior ballroom. Maxwell’s Restaurant serves classic American cuisine in a casual setting.
