Loews Coronado Bay has promoted John Annicchiarico to director of marketing. Prior, Annicchiarico served as director of sales for the hotel.

Kevin Aucello has been appointed vice president of Hawaii Development at Outrigger Hotels & Resorts in Honolulu. Aucello held several senior roles at CB Richard Ellis from 1997 until 2007, when he was hired by Marriott International, where he was vice president of lodging development.

Crestline Hotels & Resorts has promoted Meredith Bottenfield to general manager for the Courtyard by Marriott 37th Street North, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Bottenfield was previously the director of operations for the Crestline Hotels & Resorts-managed Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel, Virginia Beach.

Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club has named Niall Cowan general manager. His most recent role was as Fairmont’s regional director, food & beverage, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Patrick Duff has been named director, food & beverage, Fairmont Dubai. Most recently, he served as executive chef, Fairmont Dubai.

Peter Finnegan has been appointed corporate director, food and beverage, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Most recently, he held the position of director, food and beverage, The Fairmont Royal York.

Joie de Vivre Hospitality has appointed Christopher Gautier as vice president of revenue and distribution. Gautier previously was with Noble House Hotels & Resorts as vice president of revenue management/distribution.

Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Chatham, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod has named James Hackney executive chef of its culinary program and signature restaurant, twenty-eight Atlantic. Hackney most recently served as executive chef at Boston’s L’Espalier.

Wayne Kafcsak is the new general manager at The Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados. Kafcsak had been general manager, Raffles Canouan Island.

Bonnie Kiyabu has been appointed general manager at the Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki in Hawaii. Previously Kiyabu had spent her entire career at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa, most recently serving as executive assistant manager since 1999.

Leah Marshall has been appointed hotel director at Hôtel Le Bristol, Paris. She also is the opening and operation director for the Oetker Collection. She was most recently with Shangri-La Hotels as a director, preparing the Shangri-La Hotel Paris for its opening.

Loews Coronado Bay has promoted Javaud Mushtaq to director of sales. Mushtaq previously served as director of national accounts for the hotel.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has appointed James Moss as director of sales and marketing of the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, scheduled to open in October. Moss previously served as director of sales and marketing at the Conrad Miami.

Deborah Peterson has been appointed director, human resources, Carlson Hotels, Asia Pacific. She previously headed a coaching and human capital development consultancy.

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has appointed Jurgen Schafers as general manager of the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, scheduled to open in October. Prior, Schafers served as general manager of the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate.

Lucinda Semark has joined Carlson as executive vice president, revenue generation, Carlson Hotels, Asia Pacific. Semark was previously senior vice president, marketing, at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

The Westin Verasa, Napa, California, has announced that Don Shindle is now the full-time general manager. Previously, Shindle was the general manager of The Westin Verasa while at the same time overseeing a number of Westin properties as the regional vice president of Intrawest Hospitality Management.

Brett Smith has been named executive chef at The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida. Prior, Smith served as the executive chef de cuisine at Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Matthew Smith is the new vice president, human resources, Europe, Africa, Middle East & Asia Pacific for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Since 1997, he has held progressive positions throughout the Fairmont portfolio and in the company’s corporate office.

Anantara Hotels Resorts and Spas has appointed Melanie Smith general manager of the new Anantara Bangkok Sathorn. She was most recently hotel manager at the Eaton Hotel Hong Kong.

Christopher Steele has been named executive chef at the Hilton Hartford in Connecticut. He most recently served as head chef for the Prospect Café in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, has named David Stern as director, food and beverage. Stern has held numerous food and beverage positions with a number of luxury operators.
