Jennifer Choi has been appointed director of finance at Kaua’i Beach Resort in Hawaii. Choi previously was assistant director of finance for The Modern Honolulu.

Anthony Covino has been named general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Mystic, Connecticut. Covino most recently was general manager of the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Fairmont Newport Beach has named Brian Doherty executive chef. Doherty most recently was executive sous chef at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle.

InterContinental Milwaukee has named Bob Druschitz executive chef. Druschitz most recently was sous chef at Quartino Ristorante & Wine Bar in Chicago.

Red Roof Inn, Columbus, Ohio, has named Brendan Foley chief financial officer. Foley previously served as CFO of IT and management consulting firm Navigator Management Partners.

James Franks has been promoted to general manager of The Hilton College Station Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, Texas. Franks previously was the property’s hotel manager.

Marshall Hotels & Resorts, Salisbury, Maryland, has promoted Michael Getzey to chief operating officer. Previously, Getzey was president of the company’s construction and renovation division.

Rachel Harrison has been named chief marketing officer at Island Outpost in Jamaica. Harrison most recently served as director of communications for Andaz by Hyatt.

Tolga Lacin has been appointed regional director of food and beverage at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East. Lacin will also continue in his current role of hotel manager at The Westin Dubai and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina.

The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona, has appointed Russell Michel executive chef. Michel previously served as the executive chef at Morgan’s Restaurant and the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento, California.

Gerald Morris has been appointed vice president of hotel operations at Hospitality Management Corporation in Dallas. Most recently, Morris was the company’s regional director of operations.
