Sahara to be renovated, reopen:  SBE Entertainment and Stockbridge Real Estate Funds announced plans to renovate and reopen the Sahara Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, which closed earlier this year.

Nevada says sell Palms:  The Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended on Wednesday that the majority stake in the Palms Casino Resort be sold to Leonard Green & Partners and TPG Capital, who have already purchased the property’s US$459 million outstanding debt.
