Radisson Blu adds two in Saudi Arabia: The 186-room Radisson Blu Resort Al Khobar Aziziya will open in the fourth quarter of 2015, and the 180-unit Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Unaizah will follow in second quarter 2016.

Chatham Lodging Trust amends credit facility: The Palm Beach, Florida-based REIT closed on an amendment to its revolving credit facility that extends the maturity date to October 2016 and includes an option to extend the maturity by an additional year. Chatham currently has US$49 million outstanding on its credit facility.

Hotel Equities adds hotel in Tennessee: Atlanta-based Hotel Equities has been selected to manage the 96-room Courtyard Memphis East in Memphis, Tennessee.

 


New owner for New Mexico ski resort: Mickey Blake, chief executive officer of Taos Ski Valley, announced the family-held corporation has entered into an agreement with conservationist Louis Bacon to purchase the resort.

Don Miguel hotel to reopen: The Magna Invest Foundation, based in Luxembourg with Libyan capital, plans to invest close to €50 million (US$68.7 million) in the Don Miguel Hotel in Marbella, Spain, which has been closed for 10 years, and transform it into a luxury resort called the Magna Palace Marbella by 2015.
