New CEO for Lungarno: Lungarno Collection, a luxury hospitality group based in Florence, Italy, owned by the Ferragamo family, has appointed former Chief Operating Officer Valeriano Antonioli to chief executive officer. Antonioli has nearly 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry.

 


MetWest Terra buys two hotels in California: MetWest Terra Hospitality has purchased The Lodge at Tiburon in Tiburon and Toll House in Los Gatos. Both hotels were previously part of The Larkspur Collection. MetWest Terra will assume management of both hotels.

CBRE sells Chicago hotel: CBRE Hotels has sold the 246-room Sutton Place Hotel in Chicago to an affiliate of Chicago-based Walton Street Capital and its joint-venture partner, AJ Capital Partners.

Trust Hospitality to expand collection: The Circ in Hollywood, Florida, will join Miami-based Trust Hospitality’s boutique collection. The Circ will include 104 guestrooms and suites. Construction is scheduled to begin next summer with opening slated for 2014.
