Holiday Inn Express adds 3 hotels in England, Ireland: IHG signed a franchise agreement with Brayford Hotels to open the 80-room Holiday Inn Express Grimsby in 2015, a franchise agreement with Sherland Property OpCo Ltd to open the 138-room Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough – Centre Square in 2016, both located in England. IHG also signed a franchise agreement with existing IHG owner Findlater House Ltd to open the 198-room Holiday Inn Express Dublin – City Centre in 2016.
Park Inn to add 4 hotels in Pennsylvania: Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group signed a franchise agreement with WestPenn Hotels to open four Park Inn by Radisson-branded properties in Beaver Falls, Clarion, Indiana and Uniontown. The hotels are slated to open by the end of 2015 and will add a total of 613 guestrooms.
Fibra Inn buys hotel in Mexico: Fibra Inn bought the 143-room Hotel Mexico Plaza Silao for a total of 91.2 million pesos (US$7 million), which it will convert to a Wyndham Garden.
