Radisson to expand in Brazil: Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and Atlantica Hotels International are set to open the 292-room Radisson Hotel Rio de Janeiro in January 2014 via conversion. The hotel will receive US$5.5 million in enchancements over the next five years.

Onyx to expand in China: Onyx Hospitality Group signed agreements to open the 150-room Amari Huidong in the Xun Liao Bay area and the 260-room Amari Dali in the Yunnan province by 2016.
Archer to enter California: LodgeWorks and Zapolski Real Estate are developing the 180-room Archer Napa, which will occupy the site of the former Merrill’s First Street building.

Caribbean hotels NOI up: According to new data from PKF Consulting USA, Caribbean hotels experienced an increase of 10.9% year-on-year in net operating income in 2012.
Expotel to manage Milwaukee hotels: Expotel Hospitality Services will manage both the 194-room Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport and the 160-room Ramada Plaza Milwaukee Airport. Both hotels are located 10 minutes from downtown.
