Accor back in black in H1:  Accor reported a net profit of €34 million (US$45 million) in the first half of 2013, up from a loss of €532 million (US$710 million) in the in the first half of 2012.

LVS paying $47 million to settle government probe:  Las Vegas Sands Corp. agreed to pay US$47.4 million to settle a probe by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles into alleged failure to report suspicious financial transactions by customers.
