Newcastle’s Eagle Star House to be renovated into Hotel Indigo

NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, ENGLAND The former Eagle Star House in Newcastle’s city center will be converted into a Hotel Indigo following a £20 million renovation.

The 148-key Hotel Indigo, which will be the IHG brand’s third property in the UK, is slated to open next year.

The hotel is being developed by Sanguine Hospitality Management Co. of Bristol, England, which is aiming to hire a Michelin-starred chef to run a brasserie at the property.
