New lounge at Miami hotel mimics ‘mirrored jewelry box’

MIAMI Arkadia, the new lounge at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach designed by Miami-based Francois Frossard Design Inc., aims to depict a “mirrored jewelry box” in a seductive space that can accommodate more than 300 guests, according to a news release.

Arkadia, named for the arcade that once occupied the area in the 1970s and 1980s, opened October 28 and has already attracted high-profile guests such as LeBron James, Edward Norton and Elle MacPherson.
