On Wednesday Meliá Hotels International and its partner Wave House hosted the grand opening of the new 184-room Sol Wave House hotel, located on the Magaluf beach in Mallorca, Spain.
Wave House Mallorca, which occupies the ground floor of the Sol Wave House, recreates the challenges of the ocean through a unique artificial wave technology.
Both the hotel and the new Wave House leisure complex are part of the major “Calviá Beach Resort” tourism project that aims to renovate tourism in Magaluf and create a new image and quality level for the destination. Meliá Hotels International, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, is also partnering with Katmandu Park, a Producciones de Parques theme park located in Mallorca to transform the Sol Magaluf Park hotel into Sol Katmandu Resort for 2013.
