Loews to offer Tax Day cocktails

Filing taxes drives many Americans to drink, so it’s only fitting that Loews Hotels is offering specialty cocktails in honor of the U.S. Tax Day April 17.

Loews collaborated with mixologists Tad Carducci and Paul Tanguay from Tippling Bros. to create the cocktails, which will be available April 2-30.

The Tax Audit features American Moonshine, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and club soda, served in a Collins-style glass and topped with a brandied cherry.

The Tax Refund includes Woodford Reserve Bourbon, honey syrup, fresh lemon juice and bitters shaken and strained over crushed ice and garnished with orange and cherry.

“Everyone could use a break on Tax Day, so Loews Hotels and the Tippling Bros. went all out to ensure the month of April will be a happy one for Loews guests,” said Constantine Dimas, vice president of food & beverage for Loews. “We’re delighted to have them on board — you and your accountant will be too!”
