ATLANTA IHG has added Orlando-based discount carrier AirTran Airways to its lineup of loyalty partners.
The two-way partnership benefits members of AirTran’s A+ Rewards and IHG’s Priority Club Rewards.
IHG is AirTran’s first global hotel partner to offer A+ Rewards credits for hotel stays. Credits are available for stays at any IHG-branded property.
A+ Rewards members who join Priority Club are eligible to earn a half credit for qualified stays. Priority Club members can redeem 10,000 Priority Club points for two A+ Rewards credits.
AirTran last month announced plans to merge with North America’s leading discount carrier, Southwest Airlines.
