DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf, the company’s first property in the city.
Located in one of the two newly built 19-story towers at Media Harbour’s peninsula in Düsseldorf, the 303-key hotel has been designed by interior design firm FG stijl. It features a pedestrian bridge connecting with the opposite side of the harbor. Amenities include the DOX Restaurant and sushi bar, a fitness center and more than 850 sq. m of event space, including a 445-sq.-m ballroom.
FG stijl used warm colors, glass and abundant natural lighting to create Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf ’s distinctive look. Ceiling-high windows in the public areas offer expansive views of Media Harbour and Old Town.
The hotel’s 290 guestrooms and 13 suites feature modern technology and separate work areas. The hotel also offers Regency Club accommodation, which includes the services of a dedicated concierge and access to a private lounge.
Additional hotel services and amenities such as the Regency Club, Rive Spa and Pebble restaurant are expected to be complete by mid-February.
