HOTELS Holiday Spirit: Children’s concierge service with charitable twist

Millennium and Copthorne International Ltd, Singapore, will introduce a children’s concierge service December 9 that includes a charity element.

The service, “Ask Alfred,” will be available at all Millennium and Copthorne hotels in Singapore. In addition to kid-centric amenities such as a limited-edition teddy bear from Hamley’s in London, young guests will be able to pledge a portion of the proceeds from Ask Alfred to Touch Community Services, a Singapore-based nonprofit organization.

Millennium and Copthorne will launch the children’s concierge service at the Snowmen’s Glass House at Orchard Hotel in Singapore with a Christmas party including Touch Community Services beneficiaries. The Snowmen’s Glass House features more than 100 life-size snowmen.

Millennium and Copthorne SVP Lim Boon Kwee, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel’s Collin Wang, M Hotel’s Benedict Ng, Studio M’s Esther Wai, Copthorne King’s Hotel’s Jeane Lim and Orchard Hotel’s Andrew Tan present young guests with limited-edition Hamley’s teddy bears — one of the Ask Alfred amenities — at the Snowmen’s Glass House at Orchard Hotel.
