Hotel managing director creates ocean-inspired jewelry line

Dana Hokin, managing director and CEO of the 84-room Bitter End Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands, has created Deliberate Hues, a new ocean-inspired jewelry line designed to reflect the spirit of the resort.

The collection consists of one-of-a-kind braided leather bracelets, necklaces, earrings, belts and other accessories handmade with saltwater-cured leather cords, glass beads, semi-precious stones, antique silver charms and fresh water pearls. A percentage of the collection’s profits are solely reserved for the island’s local Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School.

“For some time now, I’ve wanted to create a collection of jewelry that pairs well with the Bitter End lifestyle and experience,” Hokin said. “My collection is inspired by living and playing on the water in a remote part of the Caribbean. I love the fact that each piece of jewelry carries with it a direct connection to our Caribbean location and community.”
