Hot Openings: Mövenpick makes Indian debut

Zurich-based Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened its first property in India, the Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore.

The 182-key, 5-star property — owned by Kodandaram Ramaiah, managing director of MSR Hotel (Bangalore) Pvt Ltd. — is located near the city’s main business districts and a 30-minute drive from the airport.

Event facilities include a grand ballroom with a separate entrance and seven meeting venues. The property also features a 12th floor fitness center with city views, a swimming pool with infinity edge and the Sohum Spa with therapies inspired by Ayurveda, the ancient Indian philosophy of health and well-being.
