Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement to operate a Hilton Garden Inn in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The new-build Hilton Garden Inn Montevideo, expected to open in late 2014, will be part of Montevideo Shopping Center, which was developed and is managed by Estudio Luis E. Lecueder. The property will feature 168 guestrooms, a full-service restaurant, the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry, an outdoor swimming pool and fitness center.
Hilton Garden Inn Montevideo is Hilton Worldwide’s first managed hotel in Uruguay. The company currently has one hotel in Uruguay, Conrad Punta del Este, and 51 hotels and resorts throughout Latin America.
