MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA Google Inc. is offering hotels in select cities the opportunity to receive complimentary professional photography that would appear on the hotel’s Google Places pages.
The program—which is currently being offered on a limited basis in the United States, England, France, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand and Japan—is an effort to further establish Google Places as the go-to place on the Internet for business information.
Hoteliers can apply for the complimentary service here, or they can also upload their own photography themselves. While anyone can apply, Google is currently offering photographers in only 31 markets:
