CWT: Latin America ADR up most in 2012

Business travel management company Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is predicting that Latin America will see the largest ADR increase worldwide in 2012.

In the company’s 2012 Travel Price Forecast report, released on Tuesday, Latin American ADR is predicted to increase by 9% to 11.8% in the first half of 2012 and 10.1% to 12.2% during the second half of the year. Brazil could see an ADR increase of more than 24% in the first half and 34% in the second half of the year.

The report predicts that the Asia Pacific market will continue to thrive while ADR there is expected to largely remain flat for next year. Meanwhile ADR in Europe, Middle East and Africa is predicted to also remain flat and ADR in North America is expected to increase by 2% to 3% despite continued economic problems in those regions.
