Chicago hotel offering rooftop accommodation

On Tuesday, Affinia Chicago, a boutique hotel located in downtown Chicago, began offering a room on its rooftop, without a roof, for guests to rent when the weather permits.

The room is on the 29th floor and besides an impressive view offers 1,800 sq ft of space, a private butler and private security. The rate is US$10,000 per night with up to five guests allowed and is only available Friday and Saturday nights while the warm weather remains. Other amenities that come with the room include a private, customized dinner on the roof prepared by the C-House executive chef, a bottle of Champagne, a private outdoor movie screening, late night snacks and breakfast in bed from C-House, a modern American cuisine restaurant on the hotel’s first floor.
