Carlson’s Park Inn Hotels brand to debut in Mexico

SALTILLO, MEXICO A week after announcing the Park Inn brand’s upcoming debut in Latin America, Carlson has launched the midscale flag in Mexico with the opening of the 111-key Park Inn Saltillo.

“The opening of the first Park Inn in Mexico represents the continued momentum of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy and is aligned with plans to grow Park Inn as a winning midscale brand in Latin America,” says Steve Mogck, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Park Inn in the Americas.

The brand has more than110 hotels in operation globally, with 50 hotels currently in development. Park Inn provides affordable accommodations that are efficient, uncomplicated, practical and comfortable, Carlson says.

“We look forward to offering a vibrant, friendly environment that provides both business and leisure travelers with the affordable hotel experience they desire,” says Juan Pablo Garcia, owner of Park Inn Saltillo.

The hotel features a fitness center, business center, coffee shop and free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the hotel’s Park Restaurant. Meeting space is available for up to 40 people. The non-smoking hotel features master suites, junior suites, king and double guestrooms. The hotel is located two miles from Plan de Guadalupe International Airport and offers free daily shuttle service.
