SURREY, ENGLAND Akkeron Hotels Group has acquired 10 of the 12 Butterfly Hotels that went into administration last week.
Birmingham, England-based Butterfly is a chain of midscale properties in England flagged by Best Western, Ramada and Holiday Inn Express.
The acquired hotels are:
- The 120-key Holiday Inn Express Banbury M40 Junction 11
- The 110-key Holiday Inn Express Birmingham Castle Bromwich
- The 71-key Ramada Bury St Edmunds
- The 50-key Ramada Colchester
- The 71-key Best Western Rockingham Forest Corby Hotel
- The 65-key Best Western Himley Hotel Dudley
- The 120-key Holiday Inn Express Kettering
- The 50-key Ramada Kings Lynn
- The 70-key Ramada Peterborough
- The 74-key Ramada Cromwell Stevenage
The acquisitions bring Surrey-based Akkeron’s managed portfolio to 36 properties across the United Kingdom.
