Accor’s Pullman Hotels brand makes Mideast debut

DUBAI Accor has launched its upscale Pullman Hotels brand in the Middle East with the opening of Pullman Dubai Mall of the Emirates Hotel.

The 24-story property, adjacent to Mall of the Emirates, features 481 guestrooms including 94 suites. It offers 800 sq. m of meeting space, along with nine rooms with individual pre-function areas, boardrooms and several venues for cocktail receptions and creative breaks.

“Pullman Dubai MOE complements Accor’s existing collection of hotels in the Middle East and is designed to cater to leisure and business travelers, as well as to the MICE segment,” says Christophe Landais, managing director of Accor Middle East.

The hotel’s recreational facilities include a Fit lounge with cardio and weight training, dry sauna and steam rooms, two indoor swimming pools and jacuzzi. The hotel will also feature a Sanctuary Pool and Spa Lounge, Vantage bar, Sanabel restaurant and Soda Box restaurant.

A second Pullman hotel is scheduled to open in Jumeirah Lake Towers in 2012. Accor has plans to grow the brand elsewhere in the region, including in Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. By the end of this year, the Pullman brand is slated to have 60 hotels open across Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
