7 Days could be taken private

7 Days Group Holdings Inc., Guangzhou, China, received a proposal to be taken private by a group of investors and said it plans to form a special committee of independent directors to consider the offer.

The group includes private equity companies Carlyle Group and Sequoia Capital China and the company’s co-chairman and founders Boquan He and Nanyan Zhang and would buy shares they do not currently controlled. He has a 23% stake in the company, while Zheng has 9.3% of shares of the hotel company.
