People on the move: Kalibri Labs, Rosewood Hotels, Raines

Kalibri Labs, a hospitality intelligence and analytics firm announced the appointment of three new members to its executive team. Among the new additions are: 

  • Del Ross, chief operating officer 
  • Dennis Shaw, chief financial officer 
  • Chris Wood, chief technology officer 

Ross, formerly of Hotel Effectiveness (now Actabl), joined the company in September to lead and deliver profit-optimized revenue growth for thousands of hotels, drawing on his 20 years of hotel industry experience. 

Shaw has held senior and C-level financial positions in the hospitality, supply chain and SaaS technology industries. He was the chief financial officer of Hotel Effectiveness, and before that, he consulted across multiple industries from 2013 to 2018. 

Wood brings over 20 years of experience leading data analytics product development in cybersecurity, government, and consulting to Kalibri Labs. He was SVP of engineering at LookingGlass Cyber Solutions before joining Kalibri Labs, where he was responsible for all aspects of developing and delivering multiple analytical products.

Lutz Arnhold, managing director of the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, has been named President of the Santa Fe Lodgers Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving members from all segments of the lodging industry. The Santa Fe Lodging Association, based in Santa Fe, plays a key role in assisting local public leaders in understanding the positive effects Santa Fe’s lodging facilities have on the community and economy. 

Lutz brings years of experience overseeing operations at one of Santa Fe’s top hotels, the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, as well as a deep understanding of the role hospitality, plays in the city’s ongoing development and prosperity, to this new role. Lutz will support many local initiatives aimed at assisting the industry in this capacity. 

Brittney Jones has been named vice president of strategic partnerships by Raines. Jones has been with Raines for nearly a decade, most recently as the company’s first-ever vice president of sales, marketing, and revenue management, where she was instrumental in driving significant topline revenue to the company’s portfolio of branded and soft-branded properties in the Southeast and generating new sales opportunities through relationships in local communities and the hospitality industry. 

Stefan Frank, who is already the senior director of operations for Deutsche Hospitality’s Rhine-Main/Belgium cluster of 13 hotels, will take direct responsibility for the brand family’s flagship hotel, Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof., as of January 1, 2023. Frank was previously the general manager of the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt am Main until April 2021.
