When is color too much?
We recently had a very healthy debate internally at Puccini Group about the importance of color in our branding materials as it relates to our new website redesign. We debated how much color, which color, when to use it and, most importantly, what we are trying to communicate.
This topic once again got me thinking after I attended an event where color was at the forefront of the experience.
Color surrounds us in our everyday lives, and I was reminded of the importance and benefits of being strategic with something as simple as a color choice. Often color is used for the sake of using it, whether it be in design or branding, and just like great design, the color selection should make us feel something.
