Macau S.A.R, one year on…

January 29 marked my one-year anniversary of no travel, a sharp contrast to the 2-3 weeks per month of business travel in previous years. During this period, it has not been possible for me to cross the border into China or go to Hong Kong. Over the past 12 months, Macau has continued to manage and control the crisis effectively and efficiently. The territory “peaked” at 46 cases late June 2020 and then went without any new cases of local infections for 309 consecutives days.
