Hotelier of the World awards
Always the highlight of my business calendar year after year, on November 15 at the New York Palace, HOTELS presented its 30th annual Hotelier of the World awards to P.R.S. “Biki” Oberoi of Oberoi Hotels in Delhi and Stephen Bartolin, Jr. of The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A couple hundred of our closest friends gathered for the formal ceremony, which was followed by a lavish cocktail buffet.
Each of the winners reminisced about the highs and lows that brought them to this moment. Both Mr. Bartolin and Mr. Oberoi were long on humility and gratitude, giving most of the credit to their teams and families, and promising never to lose sight of what is most important about their chosen crafts — service excellence.
Here are some photos from the event to give you a glimpse inside this wonderful evening.
