COVID-19’s impact on renovations

The pandemic has changed the world over the last year and a half, and the impact of COVID-19 will have long-term effects. While industry reports reflect an improving outlook as compared to early 2021, renovation budgets are nevertheless increasing. Hotels that began renovation in 2021, and those that will begin renovations in 2022, may be affected by the Delta variant. They will face new issues in design, procurement and execution.
