Conversation with… Santa Claus
If I could be a kid again, climb on Santa’s knee and give him my wish list for Christmas, it would look something like this:
For our harassed business guests, who have only more hurdles to jump to do what they need to do and get where they need to be: a free upgrade on their next long-haul flight, just because the gate agent was in a good mood.
For my guest service agents and front-of-the-house team, who continually work the front lines making sure all of our guests are happy: a week-long, all-expense-paid vacation to anywhere in the world, so they can be spoiled just like they spoil all of our guests.
For my housekeeping team, who work tirelessly every day to keep this hotel spotless: a few extra hours of sleep each night, so they may get the rest they truly deserve, as well as a daily cleaning staff to clean their homes for them.
For my engineering team, who maintain this pre-war building like a palace: a state-of-the-art penthouse workshop, with a view.
For my F&B team: a private chef and servers to cook a gourmet meal for them in their homes (tip included!).
For my concierge team, who make miracles happen on a daily basis: a personal assistant to help keep their lives running flawlessly, as they manage our guests’ stays.
For my assistant and support staff: everything, because that is what they do for me every day.
