What hotels can do for LGBTQ+ guests, employees

HOTELS blogger Christopher Henry wants to ask you a question: What are you doing to acknowledge, recognize – and hopefully accept – your gay employees and guests?

The city of New York anticipates hosting up to 6 million people from around the world in June during Gay Pride month. “Numbers like these should be a call to action for every brand, owner and operator to make their properties more welcoming to LGBTQ+ guests and employees,” writes Henry, founder of Majestic Hotel Group.

He tackles the “third rail” topic of LGBTQ+ issues in his latest blog contribution and offers practical ways forward for hotels that want to lay out a rainbow-striped welcome mat to this increasingly influential demographic.
