Sea Island, a coastal Georgia resort, promoted two executives while Midas Hospitality hired an executive who spent more than two decades at InterContinental Hotels Group. Meanwhile, InterContinental Hotels Group promoted its general counsel and appointed a chief lawyer from within the company. Take a look at who’s moving where.

Autograph Collection by Marriott International appointed Anthony Da Silva general manager of the African Pride Mount Grace Country House & Spa, Autograph Collection, in Magaliesburg, South Africa. In 2016, Da Silva became general manager of Protea Hotel by Marriott Polokwane Landmark in Polokwane, South Africa. 

Robert Eastman is now director of private villas and key accounts at Grace Bay Resorts in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. Eastman, who has extensive private villa rental experience, most recently was head of national accounts at Onefinestay.

Midas Hospitality brought Linda Eigelberger onto its leadership team as vice president of sales and revenue management. Eigelberger departed InterContinental Hotels Group where she spent more than two decades, recently handling sales skill building and revenue retention efforts for the company’s brands throughout the country. 

Cody Fishel is now general manager of River Run, a Signature Sun RV Resort in Granby, Colorado, opening this summer. Fishel joined from Grand Lake Lodge in Grand Lake, Colorado, where he was operations manager, overseeing the hotel, restaurant, and wedding and events business.

Nandita Gandhi was named director of revenue for Novotel Goa Resort & Spa and Novotel Goa Shrem Hotel, both in Goa, India. Gandhi most recently was revenue and reservation manager at Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai, India. 

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants named Matthew Hurlburt area director of operations for New York and Pennsylvania, and general manager of Kimpton Muse Hotel in Manhattan, New York City. In 2012, Hurlburt joined Kimpton as general manager of the Hotel Monaco Alexandria in Alexandria, Virginia, and the following year was named Kimpton’s area director of hotel operations for the mid-Atlantic region.

Resort Vacations named Bettejean Kelly senior vice president, operations, with responsibilities including human resources, accounting, loan portfolio management, loan and maintenance fee collections and services, as well as member service and escrow closing of sales contracts. Kelly has been part of the company’s executive team for 10 years. 

Sea Island, a resort in Sea Island, Georgia, appointed Ella Kent director of rooms and Dana Reitz director of spa and fitness. Kent joined Sea Island in 2014 as the director of spa and salon, expanding the role to include oversight of fitness and tennis. Reitz, who also joined the resort in 2014, was assistant director of spa and salon. 

Dawid Koegelenberg is now general manager of Fusion Resort Cam Ranh in Cam Ranh, Vietnam. Koegelenberg previously spent five years at Paresa Resort & Spa in Phuket, Thailand, where he was general manager. 

The Drake, a Hilton Hotel in Chicago, appointed Mark Lagges as executive chef and Atha Panou as director of human resources. Lagges, who once was banquet chef at The Drake, most recently was executive sous chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago. Panou previously worked at Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel in Chicago where she filled holes in group and transient occupancy with passengers, fly packages and flight crews.

Eldorado Resorts named Stephanie Lepori, its current principal accounting officer, to the additional role of chief administrative officer. Lepori joined Eldorado in 2014 as senior vice president of finance and was appointed principal accounting officer for the company in January 2016. 

Tina Meredith returned to PM Hotel Group as vice president, portfolio revenue management strategies. She formerly was regional director of revenue management at PM Hotel Group, and also held senior revenue management roles within Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Schulte Hospitality Group. Nate Pinkowski was named vice president revenue management at PM Hotel Group. He had been regional vice president of revenue management with Crescent Hotels & Resorts. 

Mandarin Oriental appointed Kelly Mickens sales manager, overseeing the U.S. and Canadian markets for Mandarin Oriental, Canouan on Canouan Island, St. Vincent & Grenadines. Prior to this appointment, Mickens was the sales manager for Jumby Bay Island in Antigua. 

The Havana Cabana at Key West Hotel in Key West, Florida, appointed James Moore III general manager. With more than 20 years of experience, Moore comes to the property from Hilton Garden Inn in Key West where he was hotel manager. 

Montage International appointed Mike Paneri executive vice president of design and construction. Paneri joined the company from Viceroy Hotel Group where he spent 14 years as senior vice president of hotel development.

The Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in Paradise Island, The Bahamas, named Alessio Pitzalis head chef of the Café Martinique, a fine-dining restaurant debuting this month. Prior to this role, Pitzalis was chef de cuisine at JW Marriott Absheron Baku in Baku, Azerbaijan.   

Donohoe Hospitality Services welcomed back Leticia Proctor as senior vice president of sales, marketing and revenue management. Proctor, who gained sales acumen at Donohoe Hospitality Services in the early years of her career, most recently was senior vice president of sales, marketing and digital strategies at PM Hotel Group. 

Solbar at Solage, Auberge Resorts Collection in Calistoga, California, named Gustavo Rios as executive chef. Rios, who previously spent seven years at Solbar, recently worked with another Solbar veteran to create the concept for Calistoga-based Evangeline, a French bistro, where he also served as executive chef. 

Hilton Charlotte University Place in Charlotte, North Carolina, appointed Feliks Schwartz general manager. Schwartz most recently was general manager at The Westin Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. 

Andrew Spinelli became director of food and beverage for Turtle Bay Resort, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property Kahuku, Hawaii, on Oahu’s north shore. Spinelli had been general manager for BLT Steak Waikiki in Honolulu. He also served as a trainer at the corporate level for the BLT Restaurants organization.

Associated Luxury Hotels International appointed Jamie Lee Tiffany director of sales within the company’s western U.S. sales team. Before joining the company, Tiffany was senior sales manager at L’Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar, California.

InterContinental Hotels Group promoted its executive vice president, general counsel and company secretary, George Turner, to chief commercial and technology officer. Nicolette Henfrey, who has served as the company’s deputy company secretary and head of corporate legal, succeeded Turner. Turner, who served as the firm’s chief lawyer for a decade, will now be responsible for global sales, distribution, revenue management, property systems, digital and voice, technology and information security. Henfrey joined the company in 2001 as vice president and senior group legal adviser, and in 2011 was appointed deputy company secretary.

Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, welcomed Arthur Viot as general manager. He most recently was general manager at Hotel Habita in Monterrey, Mexico.

Margaret Ybarra became director of marketing for the Kennebunkport Resort Collection in Kennebunkport, Maine. Melissa Mitchell also joined as content creator. Ybarra joins from Impact Branding & Design where she was a principal marketing strategist. Mitchell previously was the marketing coordinator at Sea Bags of Portland, Maine.
