Yotel moves into extended stay with YotelPad

Yotel has dipped its toes into extended stay segment with the launch of the new YotelPad brand.

Standard “Pads” will start from 215 square-feet but larger rooms will also be available and will have work and relaxing areas, en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchenettes and storage space.

Communal areas and amenities will be programmed to the local area and can include 24/7 gyms, bike and gear storage, Amazon lockers, laundry, home cinema and library as well as the company’s Club Lounge, a social co-working area.

Guests will be able to book using a YotelPad app, as well as using smartphones as their digital keys, as well as a tool to order amenities and food to go.

YotelPad will launch globally with five projects already confirmed in North America, Europe and the Middle East. The first two will debut in Park City, Utah and downtown Miami.  YotelPad Park City will be located in Park City Mountain, the largest ski resort in the U.S. and will be developed by Replay Destinations, a North American-based destination resort project developer. The Miami location will form part of a mixed-use development including 250 Yotel cabins and 208 YotelPads by the Aria Development Group.

Those two will be followed closely by two YotelPads in the Geneva Lake region in Switzerland (developed by M3 Real Estate) and other from Yotel Dubai in Business Bay.
