Four Seasons to open private residence property in London

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts is opening a private residence in London’s Mayfair neighborhood, the first to be operated independently of one of the company’s hotel properties.

The Toronto-based hotel company is partnering with design and development firm Finchatton on Four Seasons Private Residences, which will open in 2018. The property will have 37 three-, four- and five-bedroom residences and some of the amenities of a Four Seasons hotel including in-residence dining, concierge services, housekeeping, grocery stocking, child care and transportation services.

“Twenty Grosvenor Square is a significant development for Four Seasons as it marks our much-anticipated entry into standalone residential,” said J. Allen Smith, president and CEO of Four Seasons, according to a press release.

The property, Twenty Grosvenor Square, was the former home of the U.S. Naval forces in Europe.
