Cape Town now has a Radisson Red.
The brand, from Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, embraces tech-driven design and multifunctional social spaces, while also offerings millennial-driven perks like keyless entry and a pet-friendly policy.
Located in the V&A Waterfront’s newly revamped Silo District, the 252-room hotel has standard two-sleeper studios, studio suites with balconies and sea views. Rooms start at R2,343 ($US179)
The hotel’s roof space, which is open to the public, comes with a swimming pool, kitchen, and four-ton red truck which serves local beers. Additional F&B spaces include OuiBar and Ktchn.
The hotel’s opening follows global launches in Brussels, Minneapolis and the most recent addition in Campinas, Brazil.
